Thousands of adults all over the country have taught themselves using this workbook and have gone on to work as manufacturers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, utility line workers, etc. Recently, the workbook was revised to include a section on the "broken ruler" problem (i.e., when the left end of an object is not aligned with the zero-line of the ruler); this is a concept with which a majority of school children around the world struggle. A number of middle-school students who field-tested this newly-added section were able to raise their quiz scores from 0% to 100% after completing 100 related exercises.
