Algebra I Regents Examination Prep Course for African-Americn and Latina Girls

FREE* classes in this Course will meet once a week, on Sunday, for fourteen weeks (March 17 – June 16) from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in a classroom generously provided by Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.
The program of study will include comprehensive remediation (whenever necessary), extensive problem-solving, and a variety of enrichment activities.  At each class meeting, girls will take a full-length Algebra I Regents Practice Test (obtained from the archives of the New York State Education Department).  The purpose of the program is to help girls of color achieve Regents and Advanced Designation Regents Diplomas.
*There is a $25 fee to cover the cost of classroom supplies and copying.
